Do you offer a free trial?
No free trial, but the Free plan covers glucose and medication logging at no cost. Paid plans unlock AI meal plans, lab explanations, and chat, and they bill from day one. Cancel any time.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. Open Settings then Account then Billing to upgrade or downgrade. Prorated automatically.
Why is there a Free plan?
Logging your glucose and medication is the foundation of diabetes self-care, and we don't want to gate that. AI plans, lab explanations, and chat live on the paid tiers.
What happens at the Plus monthly limits?
When you hit your monthly cap (2 meal plans, 10 chats, etc.), the app tells you and offers a one-tap upgrade to Pro for unlimited access until the end of your billing period.
Is Concierge worth it?
Concierge adds a monthly 30-minute call with a certified diabetes educator (CDE) plus a PDF report we send to your primary doctor. If you're newly diagnosed or your last HbA1c was above 8.0, the human in the loop usually pays for itself within 3 months.
Annual vs monthly?
Annual saves ~17% on Plus, Pro, and Concierge. You can switch billing cycles any time.
Is this medical advice?
No. Diabetly is an educational wellness companion. Every explanation ends with a reminder to talk to your doctor. We refuse questions about medication changes or emergencies.
How is my data protected?
Encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Row-level security on the database. Photos and lab files stay in your private storage folder. AI providers process your inputs transiently and don't train on them.
Can I get my data back if I leave?
Yes. Settings then Account then Export downloads everything as JSON. Delete account removes everything (including AI logs and stored photos) within 30 days.
